Set up the cron job

A one-minute cron job keeps confirmations flowing even when the customer closed the payment page.

  1. In cPanel open Advanced → Cron Jobs.
  2. Choose Once Per Minute.
  3. Paste the command shown on your gateway's Integrations page, for example:
    /usr/local/bin/php /home/youruser/public_html/payfim/cron.php >/dev/null 2>&1
  4. Save. Within a minute the dashboard shows "Last run: just now".

No shell access?

Use the URL option instead (also shown on the Integrations page):

curl -s "https://yourdomain.com/payfim/cron.php?key=YOUR_CRON_KEY" >/dev/null

Any free external cron service can call that URL every minute.
